WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU BOOK WITH B+B:

 
 

SOME NOTES ON WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER BOOKING OUR TEAM FOR YOUR BIG DAY…

Since we know what an important day this will be and that the planning process can feel overwhelming at times, we wanted to offer more of a breakdown of what to expect from our team after signing a contract with us.  Below is a basic timeline of a typical B+B planning period: 

  • Tasting - While we understand the desire to taste our food prior to booking, most often schedules don't align and most of our clients take a leap of faith (thank you :).  We offer what we call our "takeaway tastings", available for pick-up at our commercial kitchen location. Upon booking with us you will be sent a link to our tasting calendar, where you can select a date from the schedule. Each takeaway tasting includes a mini “board”, three passed apps (one meat, one vegetarian & one seafood), two proteins, three sides, and some sweets! We offer tastings of either a combo of The Grill & Roasted Feasts or The Grill & Italian Feasts, depending on the date you sign up for. Please note that this is a pre-fixed menu. While we will honor dietary restrictions and allergies, we are unfortunately not able to accommodate customized tasting menus at this time. We have chosen this style of tasting as a way to accommodate the vast number of clients we have at the same time as showcasing our style of service and the flavors appropriate to the season. Food is packaged and ready to eat (think take-out style) or can include reheating instructions if you are picking up and planning on eating a little later! Please keep in mind that the "tasting season" is typically November - April. We will do our best to accommodate other dates, but during the wedding season, we try to put all of our focus on the events immediately ahead, as we look forward to doing for you!

  • Rental Consultation - Depending on how far in advance you've booked with B+B, rental consultation may take place immediately after booking or within the following months.  If you're booking well in advance (one year or more), please keep in mind that we are likely still working with current clients and they do take priority as their plans are being finalized.  We do our best to provide this service in a timely manner and will allow for ample time for your order to be placed with the rental company of your choice. To learn more about the rental consultation, please click here!   • Menu Adjustments - We know that menus and guest counts fluctuate and you have up until 3 weeks before the big day to make changes.  You may continue to work with us on any of the changes you'd like to see during the planning process.  Please note that major adjustments to your menu may result in additional cooking equipment rentals.  We will do our best to stay on top of that, but feel free to let your rental consultant know when big changes are made.  

  • Final Details -

    • Final "20 Questions" - B+B will send you our Final "20 Questions" one month prior to the big day!  We use this information to generate your final invoice.  We ask for your response within the week. 

    • Final Invoice(s) - B+B will generate and email your final invoices two weeks prior to your big day (whenever possible).  

    • Final Rental Adjustments - Once you have approved your B+B final invoice(s), we will send final quantities and adjustments to your rental company.  We will all receive copies to review and base your payment off of.  Please do not make the final payment to the rental company before finalizing your B+B invoice.  

    • Final Payment - Final payment is due one week prior to your big day.
